What Is The Trends Page?

The Trends page is the default view of your analytics dashboard, designed to provide a comprehensive overview of your content’s performance. This page allows you to track and compare metrics from multiple events at once, helping you identify patterns and trends that inform strategic decisions.

Key Features of the Trends Page

  • Multi-Event Comparison: Chart multiple events on a single graph to compare key metrics and spot patterns or use the Compare Table to view metrics for multiple events side-by-side.

  • Customizable Metrics: Select specific events and metrics of interest, such as viewer engagement or reach, to analyze data in a way that aligns with your goals.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Use visualizations to discern trends and make informed decisions for optimizing future content strategies.

Accessing Trends

The layout and functionality of the Trends page depend on the number of events in your account. If you've only streamed one event, then you will be taken to the Events page when opening Analytics since you need at least two events to use Trends.

When your account has two events, the Trends page will be your default page when opening Analytics and it will display both events automatically. You won't have to select anything on your own.  Once you have three or more events in your account, then you will select the time period for which you want the events to be displayed: this week, this month, last month or custom ( which lets you pick specific dates or events).

Once you have enough events to unlock it, the Trends page equips you with robust, data-driven tools to understand your content’s impact and refine your strategies effectively.
